Unknown public building - perhaps England....COMPLETED...many thanks
« on: Monday 22 February 10 15:41 GMT (UK) »
Attached are 2 photographs from a friends collection. There is no indication as to the location.
The family travelled a bit around the UK and we suspect from the design of the buildings that they are of the same building - ie round windows above first floor - same styles of windows etc.
Any suggestions welcomed.

Peter :)

Looks like Hampton Court Palace in London to me! ;D The beautiful south face of the Palace, built for William and Mary:

Thanks Millerina - not having ever visited there etc etc

It looks spot on - I thought it would be solved here - but not as qiuck as the 1st post!

Links are most interesting - must visit when I am next in England.

Thanks

Peter

Yes, definitely Hampton Court. Well worth a visit Pete, especially in the Spring when the gardens are beautiful.
