Treefan,

I got out to Resthaven today. Unfortunately there's still a bit of snow about and many markers have a layer of ice over them. It was an inch thick on top of the Scott marker but it was sunny and above freezing out and I was able remove the ice without too much trouble. The next step is to look for hits in 1987 in Pages of the Past.

Mat, I truly am lost for words. Your kind help is overwhelming & I am very grateful to you. I would never have learned of all the info which you have found for me & I am sure that I would never have set eyes on William & May's grave.
Thank you,
Treefan.

Treefan,

I just was just looking at the St. Catharines Standard online and found that the obituaries are searchable. They don't go back far enough for George Scott's obit but this looks like his wife Anne's: http://yourlifemoments.ca/sitepages/obituary.asp?oId=25018.

It's not stated where their daughter is living but, if you do a search on the Canada 411 website, you'll find an R. Saxton in St. Catharines.
