Liverpool Fearnall 1935
« on: Thursday 25 February 10 13:22 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I am new to this! I am looking to fill a gap? Does anyone know how to find out anything about childrens homes in the 1930's? After the death of his mother my late father was sent to Liverpool, he would of been about 7 years old when he went and he returned when he was about 18. His name was George Edgar Fearnall. Any advice on filling this gap would be great. :)

Welcome to rootschat Jayne.
I'd suggest you post on the lancashire board...however I think you'd need something to go on to narrow it down. as Liverpool is such a large city..eg was it a religious home...the liverpool folk a helpful lot, might be able to suggest where exactly to look.
best wishes
