what is the point of theses threads - virtually every day.

Even a 24 x 7 operation has to have maintenance.  ::)

Sometimes the only way you can determine whether it is a general fault or just your own access is by posting this type of query

It is often reassuring to know that others are having the same problem

Ancestry post a message when it's scheduled routine maintenance - this clearly isn't

Well - I've just tried and it's playing up for me also.  It let me in at first then froze and told me to come back later.

Annoying - I renewed my subs only yesterday  >:(

They have also made some changes re the "hints". If you have a match with another tree you can no longer see who the owner is in order to contact them....hopefully this is just a glitch...... ???

I haven't been able to get in to research for about two hours and all week it has been on slow down  :'( :'( :'( :'(

It's been an absolute pig all day.

If a problem like this occurs it's not likely to be someone's personal computer, but it might be their ISP. However, in this case it's clearly Ancestry, and not just co.uk but the entire Ancestry.com.

It's bugging me especially today as this is the last day of my sub and I want to find stuff! >:(
