I'm looking for any information on two of my great grandparents PETER MAGEE/McGHEE & MARY MURTAGH/MURDOCH. The spelling varies
The following information is given on the Parish Relief Application in the city of Glasgow
The initial application for relief dated 28th of January 1903 states that Peter is 60, (ie DOB 1843) born in Ashfield, Co Cavan.
His father Barney McGhee, mother Judith McCabe
His wife is shown as Mary Murtagh, aged 58, (ie DOB 1845) born in Co Cavan Ireland. Her father Andrew Murtagh a tailor, mother Catherine Hagan.
Next day the application is checked up on to make sure all is correct, this shows some differences.
Peter is now 57 (ie DOB 1846) born Parish of Drumgoon Co Cavan
His father is Bernard McGhee, but his mother is now Susan McCabe
His wife is shown as Mary Murdoch, aged 55, (ie DOB 1848), born Cootehill Co Cavan.
Her father Andrew Murdoch a tailor, mother Catherine Hagan
They are down as having been married “29 years ago in Drumgoon, Co Cavan, Ireland” which would make it around 1874. They are both shown as Roman Catholics.

However on their daughter Olivia’s birth certificate, January 1873, her parents’ marriage is shown as having taken place in Cootehill, Co, Cavan in February 1866
The 1881 census in Glasgow has Peter aged 39 (ie DOB 1842) born Cootehill Co Cavan. Mary aged 28 (ie DOB 1853) born Cootehill Co Cavan
Can anyone throw any light as regards date of birth, marriage date or anything else on them
