Hello you two

Census taken on the 6th June 1841 for the preceding night.

Bawtry is in two sections East and West of the North Road.

The first part description starts  - Bawtry West division of the Township ( Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire ) including therein  etc. etc.

The final summary page of the Bawtry 1841 Census states -

Males        491
Females     592
Total       1083

Houses occupied 223. Unoccupied 14

That surprises me because it always as been a bustling little town.  Thanks for the figures.

Jap Finningley is only a short walk from Bawtry so that doesn't surprise me but Rossington does.  I live within 4 miles of each of those places so if I can help in anyway
