1841 - 1871 Census 'Look Up' - Charman/Bourn

Greetings;
   I am looking for any information available for Joseph Charman and Mary Bourn ... married in June 1839 in Steyning ?
I got this from the wedding certificate but now I can't go further as I don't have access to Parish records or Census records.
Any help would be appreciated ...  thank you.

On Marriage cert it will give both Fathers names and whether alive or deceased.
By knowing those may be able to find Joseph and Mary's parents as they may be living with them on 1841

       Yes they are the Joseph and Mary I am looking for. I have the marriage cert and Joseph's father is James and Mary's is John.
I don't  have any access to parish records or census records.

have found the son joseph in 1881 if you want census entries for him
he is married to an emma living in lambeth he also has a daughter pamela
pamela later marries a charles henry godden in vauxhall on the 16th march 1892

there are 2 possible deaths in steyning that might be josephs wife mary
1 in apr qtr 1851 and 1 in oct qtr 1856

he is now the head of the house and maria wellings who was head of the house in 1861 is now down as lodger
