Hi all you wonderful restorers
I thought i would tell you a little about the gentleman and his family that you have so wonderfully restored.

Samuel Frickleton Snr
Henry Frickleton (Son)
Catherine Frickleton (Grand Daughter)

Soon after this picture was taken Samuel  died 1913 and henry and his family emigrated to the USA.
Henrys mother and 5 other sons emigrated to NZ. At the start of WW1 the boys enlisted in the NZ Army. One was killed and three were wound. Sam Jnr was invalided out of the army after being gassed. He went on to re-enlist and won the V C in Belguim, by knocking out 2 machine gun posts and killing 20 germans single handed.
This April there is going to be a Memorial unveiled to him and two others that came from Slamannan in Stirlingshire.
