Thomas Park B. 1798
« on: Monday 01 March 10 14:36 GMT (UK) »
I am searching for the parents of Thomas Park, born 1798 in Kendal. He married Ellen (Eleanor) Mattinson, who was born in Heversham in 1803.

Any info gratefully received.

Jackie

Hi

The vital records index only has the female baptisms in Kendal around this time.  The nearest date wise is Jane born Hoff  christened 1/11/1780 with parents Thomas and Jane at St Lawrence, Kendal - so worth putting to one side in case she is related   :)

Hi Patrish

Thomas's children were :- eldest girl named Jane, ? after his mother. Eldest boy named Robert, and next girl Mary, the latter were Ellen's parents's names, BUT no William, maybe they didn't get on !

If your Thomas Park is the son of William Park and Jane of Killington he is probably the grandson of William Park of Storth End died 1806 see my more Parks post.
