Hi,

FreeBMD has this possibility:

Queenie Rolfe    Sept 1911    Andover  2c   510   (mother  Buckley)

Some distance from London/Middlesex though.   :-\

I wonder if Queenie was just a nickname for her.

Are you alluding to a birth registration? If so, can you give exact details as to when and where she was registered?

A quick FreeBMD search finds an Elizabeth Queenie Rolfe Sep 1898 Wandsworth but her father was Herbert

You mentioned a registration for Queenie - can you expand on that? Or tell us more about her brothers maybe?

I see your Arthur in 1871 as Brown and 1881 as Rolfe but I lose him after 1881  :P

1891 he is A.J Rolf, in Sutton, Surrey (birthplace Inkpen tho', altho' not far and also Hungerford District)

matches the Registration that I found, and there is no Arthur Brown Rolfe registerd as far as I can see in Berks.

By 1901 he has married a Sarah, and is in Carshalton, but no kids yet. (assurance Agent ? )

Recognise any of these names?

ROLFE DOROTHY ELIZABETH MARY F 1906 5 Edmonton Middlesex
ROLFE FRED CYRIL M 1909 2 Edmonton Middlesex
ROLFE JACK OSBORNE M 1906 5 Edmonton Middlesex
ROLFE LAURA ETHEL F 1902 9 Edmonton Middlesex

As you were, he is the son of a Henry back in 1881.

Don't think it's the same one, Mort.

Arthur J born Inkpen is later to be found with a wife Sarah but no children.

This seems to be the one we are looking for
