i mentioned London as my Mum was farmed out(pardon the phrase)when she was young as there were a lot of kids (Mums siblings)and thats what happened in those days ,she didnt like staying as they Arthur,Queenie and Jack called her a country bumpkin!!so she was sent back home .She said to me she stayed with her Uncle Arthur in London

Do you know whom Queenie married and approx where/when she died?  Finding a death (inc. age at death) might make it easier to trace ber birth.

From information provided by spec to me in a PM (but which spec is happy for me to reproduce here) it appears that Queenie's brother Arthur was the film actor known as Guy ROLFE (1911-2003).

Which would possibly make him Tom's son rather than Arthur's? Tom (Arthur's brother, born ca. 1884) marries a Miss Green (Edith Christina) and seems to be the only Rolfe of Shefford to be found in London/Middlesex in 1901/1911

Added: They have a son Thomas Charles John born ca. 1907 - I wonder if this could be Jack?
