Hannah Maria BRADHURST/James ROBERTS - SA

Hannah Maria Bradhurst, widow and her son and 4 daughters arrived in Adelaide 13 Oct 1847 aboard the Lady MacNaughton from Plymouth. James Roberts was also on the ship.

Hannah and James married in Kapunda a month later on 17th Nov.

I have managed to trace what happened to Hannah's son George and daughters Nancy, Ann, Susanna and Elizabeth Jane but I can't find out any more about Hannah and James.

Does anone know if they stayed in Kapunda &/or when they died. As Hannah was 40 when she married James I assumed they did not have any children.

Hannah ROBERTS d 4.7.1881 aged 66 Married James ROBERTS { Husband}   Res and POD: Kapunda  112/386

James ROBERTS d 22.9.1886 aged 76  No relative recorded  RES and POD: Kapunda 157/460

It looks as thought Hannah lied about her age when she got to Australia - she was actually born 1807/8.
