Found using Google - Taplow Grammar School was a private school owned in the 1880s (and perhaps later) by Edward DYKE.  Papers relating to the estate of the late Edward DYKE in Taplow, Hitcham, Lent Rise and Maidenhead are at The Centre for Buckinghamshire Studies (reference D-GR/19/21 dated 20 May 1914) but it is very unlikely that these will contain information regarding pupils at the school.  It should be possible to find the location of the school using a large scale OS map from the 1920s or earlier.

None whatsoever!  As it was a private school his parents would have paid for his education there.  Maybe they knew the person who ran it.
