Sorry Emma  I missed your post!

Were you able to see that image or had it disappeared???

Do you think in those days they transferred people?
I'm just wondering if maybe Charles went to another colliery -  owned by the same person  he was working for in England !
maybe that's how the passage was paid -  don't how we'd find out -  but might be an interesting excercise.............!!!

Best wishes
Annie  ::) ::)

Emma

1901

I have the family at 49 Australia Street Seaham

Everybody the same -  except no Eliza Jane and no Nathaniel

3 more children added
Mary L aged 8
Hilda aged 6
Charles E aged 3 weeks

Have you ever heard of Horn Hall in Durham? I guess it's a regular hospital now -  but on the census they included matron nurses as well as patients seems small - I wondered if they specialized in lung discease or something..........!

I found Nathaniel Brown aged 17 there as a patient -  his occupation is listed as a "miner "

Can't find Eliza Jane......!

Regards
Annie

Hi Annie,

Thanks for still looking! Seems this one will be a long haul!  I didn't have that info on Nathaniel in 1901 - had looked for him, but hadn't been able to find him...will have to keep searching for more info!

Regards, Emma ;)

Hi Emma

I think Eliza Jane must be married....!!what do you think about the possibility of him being transferred ? I thought maybe he thought -  it might be a golden opportunity as it were - then found out it wasn't !!!!

Were you able to see that image - I've been having a problem sending them to some people - and I'm wanting to find out what it is I'm doing wrong.... it's weird some people get them others don't....!!
