Yes Abbots Leigh sounds right - thats where the son John was born about 1840 i think ?

Well the household contains a 10 month old john with parents (assume because r'ship is not given in 1841)

John aged 40 ag labourer
Sarah aged 30

All born in county (Sommerset) living in Abbots Leigh

I cant really find them in 1851 places and ages dont add up?

Henry Theodore is my great grandfather !!! thats excellent. I persume to get further back i need the parish records?  cant seem to get any further that John and Sarah?

I havent followed John senior back as yet got bit irrated when I couldnt find them on 1851, will have another look, you never know they might have a relative with them. Falling that yes it is likely it will be a records office search unless anyone has transcripts of the records on here
