I wonder if someone could help with details of the following deaths at sea that I have:-
Robert Wood born Montrose Angus 12 Sep 1862. Lost at sea 12 Feb 1884
Samuel Wood born Montrose Angus 7 May 1868 .Lost at sea 1 May 1906
Alexander Mackie born Montrose Angus 26 Oct 1866. Lost at sea 29 Dec 1930

Hello,
       There is a gravestone with the following


"Erected by Samuel Wood ,mariner, Father Robert, shipmaster, 17/5/1856 age 48. Sister Helen Brown 15/5/1881 age 13, Brothers John & William Dunn died in infancy, Robert 11/6/1857 age 23, Mother Jean Dunn 11/11/1884 age 80, Son Robert lost at sea 12/2/1884 age 21 "

This stone is at Montrose Parish Church.
Arbroath, St Vigeans, Auchmithie...names Beattie,Eaton,Spink,Smith,Keir, Shepherd, Cargill
Dunnichen/Farnell names...Weir,Addison, Anderson,Rodger
Aberdeenshire...names Stephen,Kemp,Wallace,Davidson,Sellar,McLeman,Cordiner,Crawford,Traill,Watt
Have an extensive history for McLeman.

London.....Vallance,Edwards, Dixon.

Hi luckychirpy. I actually have that and was hoping for information on the deaths. But thank you very much for taking the trouble to send the gravestone details
