Trealaw Cemetery
« on: Thursday 11 March 10 18:05 GMT (UK) »
I have the record of an Elizebeth Park aged 0 (1day) buried in Trealaw cemetery, however no grave number is listed for her, her internment was in 1940, I am told that some babies were buried in unmarked graves and the authority have no idea where these shared unmarked graves are,

I am finding this a little strange as the family of the time had 2 family graves in Trealaw, can anyone shed some light on the whereabouts of these baby graves in the cemetery or is it possible that she was placed in one of the family graves and the grave number was not entered on the register for some reason?

Surely someone from 1940 who worked at the cemetery is still alive and might have recollection of these graves?, any idea where to look would be appreciated.

Thanks all

There is a Friends of Trealaw Cemetery website that might be able to help you. I'm sorry I don't have the address but you can put it into your search engine.

Thanks for the replies, I have a list of these, but funnily enough their is infact 2 more.

I buried by Grand Father in the 1980's Named Gwylim Rhys Park and his wife in the 90's Sinha Park, so is the database up to date?

I would also love to get my hands on the database as I have a number of names to research, where can i get a copy?

Also the Rus Park listed should be Gwylim Ress Park age 7 months who I have the internment paperwork for, grave no : H943 with his parents John Park and Rachel park formally Evans.

I have looked for the friend of Trealaw but can't seem to find anything can anyone point me in the right direction,

Oh yes and I am visiting Trealaw on Saturday so if anybody wants a photo of a grave let me know.

Looking for help

Rhys

Thanks for that.

Seem the plot thickens I have burial receipts for another 2 babies, 1900 and 1903 both in the same grave, but the cemetery register only shows the one from 1900 no record of the 1903 baby seems to exist.

Hi All,

I'm searching for a Richard John SHEPPARD [husband of Elsie] who is said to have died Bet. 1941 - 1942 and buried in Trealaw Cemetery

I cannot locate a death registration for him.

Would appreciate any help given to me.

Cheers from Australia!
