If you buy this marriage certificate you should get Mary's father's name (which you don't have as yet) and more pieces of the puzzle will fit into place.  :)

Hello all,
Sorry for not getting back sooner I have been working { and succeeding } on cracking 3 brickwalls at once !

I received the Marriage Certificate for Henry and Mary  KEETLEY

Mary's father's name was William Whittle MARSHALL  { Bookeeper} .

William was actually listed as William Whittle { no Marshall} but I have since traced him. He was born 1793 in Wymeswold and died 17.12.1852 Loughborough. He married Hannah GOODACRE on 11.5.1817 at St Mary's Parish Church Wymeswold with Samuel and Elizabeth GOODACRE as witnesses. I don't know who Samuel and Elizabeth are yet...
I know nothing about Hannah yet birth or death.. still looking for that information.

I've only just joined this forum and am fairly new to Genealogy as well. I enjoyed reading this thread on your Keetley research because I also have researched them. I have a newspaper clipping of H F Keetley that you might like Alison and some other snippets of info, but for some reason I cannot send a PM yet. Probably coz I'm new or something.
