Birth look up paddington 1881/2 Jane Elizabeth Norman

Is there anyone that would be able to help me trace the birth records for Jane Elizabeth Norman b. 1881/2 Paddington London.

on the 1901 census she is working as a cook in Scarrington age 19 in the ecclesiastical parish of Aslockton, Nottingham. Birth place given as Paddington, London

Her marriage cert from Jan 8th 1902 gives her fathers name as William Henry Norman - Bricklayer (deceased).

I have as yet not been able to find any birth record or census record before 1901 for her so that I can identify her parents and other possible siblings.

If anyone can help I would be extreemely grateful for any insight on this side of the family.

Sorry I forgot to mention her age on the marriage certificate is 20

Have you found her in 1911 with hubby,and does that confirm Paddington as a birth place? It may be that she was registered under mum's maiden name perhaps?

Who were the witnesses to her marriage-(who did she marry?) - sometimes witnesses can be useful siblings.

Hi Carol,
She married Frederick Thomas Smith in Aslockton, Nottingham on 8th Jan 1902 and the witnesses are of no help as they appear to be his brother and sister. Both fathers are listed on the marriage certificate as deceased.
I haven't been successfull with the 1911 census as yet but keep trying.
I really appreciate any clues that can help find out about her background and family.
