As a novice, could I ask 2 questions. How do you know that Henry [died 1832] was 'without issue'? Is the SP by the date of death an indicator? Also are wills available anywhere online?

Thanks  ..  Peter

The letters d.s.p. (decessit sine prole) or s.p. usually mean that someone died without issue.

Some wills prior 1858 are available on-line.  It is always worth checking those proved at province level for Canterbury where the index is available at the National Archives for free and down loading the actual costs £3.50.

Those for people who only owned property locally will be in the appropriate county record office for the diocese or archdeaconry.  A few of these are online for individual counties.
