Hiya Fred.....the marriage of Samuel and Mary is on an Extracted record on www.familysearch.org

26th March 1807 in Madeley,Stafford,England

only one christening for a Samuel Mayer in Stafford in 1776 but he dies in 1778..
.so if he was born in Stafford he is not recorded...there are about 20 to choose from from other counties..
..not going to be easy for you....sorry....allan :)

Hiya Fred....there are 3 people on GenesReunited with
Samuel Mayer b 1789 Hanley , Stafford    in their family trees
so I have just checked on Mapquest UK   and Madeley to Hanley is just SEVEN miles....this looks a very good chance of him being your Samuel Mayer....
I am not a fully paid up member of www.GenesReunited,co.uk so I can`t contact these 3 members for you...
maybe another kind member will be able to help.....looks like a good possible to me being only 7 miles away
sadly there are no matches for Mary Bourne.......good luck....allan ;)
