birth St Lawrence westmorland 1826

THis is my first time, so I hope I do it right!

I need a look-up for birth:

Matthew Richardson, christened 7 may, 1826, Drybeck, Appleby, St Lawrence, Westmoreland

I need confirmation and any details of his parents, as I get conflicting results using Family Search... it is either:

William Richardson b. abt 1800 St Lawrence & Frances
OR
William Richardson b. 1786. st lawrence & Jane Brunskil b. 1806 Asby Westmorland

Hi,

Welcome to Rootschat.  Not sure I can add much to this, I've looked on IGI and see the records you have listed.  Have you tried researching both sets of parents to find mothers maiden names?  You could then look on censuses for Matthew and see if any of his children had mothers maiden name as a middle name (happens a lot in my trees! so worth a shot).  Or if he had children called Frances/Jane, named after mother.............worth a try
