Hi I Am also researching Jules George kammerer as i might be a distant relative i have also at a loss to where Susannah went and where he married Sarah J i did find on one site that Herbert George kammerer being down as Sarah J son and not Susannah's , i was wondering if you had got any more information , i have also found the store/restaurant they owned in 1950-59 named as the Swiss store  37 cranboun street London which is now a pub called the brew master next to Leicester square station take a look at this site http://deadpubs.co.uk/LondonPubs/StMartins/SwissStores.shtml if you look at previous owners he was the first so i guess he is the reason there is a pub there today this ties in with a previous post

I am also a descendant of the Kammerers. My great grandfather was Herbert George son of Jules and Sarah (Bye).
Don't know anything about his first marriage but have traced the family back to Joseph Kammerer and Mary Vogtlin in Kleinhüningen.
I know Jules (Julius) mother Marie Francoise Laurent came from Vullierens, Vaud Switzerland.
