Missing Taits
« on: Wednesday 17 March 10 01:25 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I'm trying to piece together what happened to two of my great grandfather's siblings.

Here's what I've put together so far:

Thomas Tait born 1867 in Stockton Durham. In 1871 he's living with his parents [Adam & Isabella] at 6 Wade Street, St James, Stockton. In 1881, he's a groom, still living with his parents at 17 Gayles Street Stockton.

Isabella Tait born 1870 in Stockton Durham. In 1871 he's living with his parents [Adam & Isabella] at 6 Wade Street, St James, Stockton. In 1881, she's still living with his parents at 17 Gayles Street Stockton. I think that in 1891 she's a domestic servant living at the home of an Annie Sheridan, 2 Sebastapol Terrace Dawdon Durham.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi Doug

Have you searched for possible marriage on freebmd, Ancestry, Tees Valley etc then tried to track them forward on the 1901 & 1911 census?

Cheers

Jay
