1865 birth Merthyr Tydfil
« on: Monday 21 March 05 19:51 GMT (UK) »
Has any "lister" parish records for about 1863-65 Merthyr Tydfil, looking for the birth of a William Morgan, parents William Morgan and Mary Richards. Have the birth certificates of his brother John 1868 and his sister Mary 1873 ,both born Pontypridd. But need help in trying to find William's birth in Merthyr Tydil. Thankyou. Alun

Alun,

Have you asked the local registry office - it might be worth talking, or writing to them, if you can.  Recently one of the Welsh registry offices said they would search 5 consecutive years for me.......just an idea.

Hi Wedi Thankyou  for the reply. Have already been in touch with Merthyr Tydfil and Pontypridd offices and neither has the birth record of my William Morgan. Thought that maybe some chapel records might still have not been deposited yet.
