1891 cenus Waterhouse

Could someone please help find the following:

Thomas Waterhouse age 7, born in Yorkshire.
Mother`s name would be Sarah but unknown father`s name or if there were siblings.

Hi,

Do you know where in Yorkshire he was born? Cant see any with a mum Sarah but there is one aged 6 living as nephew of a Dickens family born Pool, Yorkshire. Does any of that ring any bells?

Thomas came to Canada & on the form he said he was born in 1884. I did a search on FreeBMD and found only one birth entry in Scarborough District.

I think I have it right that the mother Sarah remarried in 1887 to Robert Allison in Middleborough and in 1920 they lived at Bramby Moor so Thomas could be living with Robert on the 1891 & 1901 census. Thomas and his wife had children born in 1907 while living in Thornton but they weren't married until 1906.

Hi Shearg...I have found a census entry for Thomas Allison born in Skelton near Hull in East Yorkshire living  in Hook in Goole with Mother Sara & Thomas Allison in 1891...Could this be Thomas taking his Mother's married name???

Are you sure he wasn't born Allison and his stepfather was Waterhouse??...in 1901 there is an entry for Sara & William Lyalls with three Waterhouse Stepsons one of whom is a Thomas Waterhouse.

I have saved the census transcripts.. if you would like a copy emailed you can P.M. if you think these are a possibilty.

Thanks Carol for checking this all out for me. I think I was the person that was barking up the wrong tree. Someone else has sorted me out as I was following the wrong marriage.
