can any one help me out there please. i am tring to trace my decendants i was told came from county cavan . my greatgrandmas father was born there in 1834 his name was john brady. all i know of his mother was a widow called margaret brady and born abt.1801/9. i do not know her maiden name. they came to live in manchester and she had 3 more children, these were born in manchester.
1 elizabeth brady b.1840.
2 thomas brady b.1847.
3 michael brady b.1848.
i found on the 1861 census john brady age 27 as a house painter and married in manchester to a
catherine shea? b.1835 ireland. [cavan]? they had 4 children mary ann brady gxgrandma b.1862?
and a alice b. 1856. susan b. 1858. and thomas b. 1864. all manchester.
can any one help me find any information on of them in ireland and manchester, i would like to know if i have any family connections, as my father never spoke about his famly. i am now finding relitives i never knew. i greatly appreciate any help with this.
