Bramham Family Stokesley, Pontefract, Kippax

Hi Folks

I am trying to discover my Bramham roots.

My 4 x great grandmother was Jane Bramham born in Stokesley baptised 19 Feb 1754.

Her father was James Bramham who rose to the rank of Chief Engineer in the Army.

According to the will of Major General James Bramham written in 1784 and proved in 1786 he left possessions to his daughter Jane Cooper widow of John Cooper late lieutenant with the Royal Artillery and to his brother Cuthbert Bramham of Pontefract, and to his nephew James Bramham son of his late brother William Bramham.

On searching on line I found some mention of a Cuthbert Bramham a Tailor from Pontefract. I also found details of Cuthbert Bramham in Kippax in the 1600's

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I would like to be able to find out the dates of birth / baptism for James and his brothers, Cuthbert and William Bramham and who their parents were.
