Emigration look up request

Hi

Could someone kindly do a lookup for John Potts b1878 emigrating to New York in 1927 on the Berengaria please?  I have looked at the passenger lists on ancestry.com but cannot find him, Findmypast has a John Potte which matches the above details but I do not have access to the site.

Any help would be grateful

Hi

That could be him, do you know if he was travelling with any family?  I was recently informed that he emigrated to the USA and shortly afterwards his wife Alice died, apparently in the 1930's.  I know that the family were in England on the 1911 census, but must have lived in the UK until 1918 as they had a number of children born here until then.  I tried searching for the family on the passenger lists but to no avail.  John's wife Alice was born in 1883, and their childrens births ranged from 1904-1918.
