DADE/BLOMFIELD Family

Hi,  We are researching the Dade/Blomfield family and know that William Dade(1761) married Susan Blomfield(1771) at Pulham St. Mary Magdelen,Norfolk on 12th.October 1790. They then had 6 children before moving to Naughton,Suffolk where they had 5 more.We have the marriage notification but the record office can find no record of william or susan being born in Norfolk.Did they start out in suffolk and move back there after their spell in norfolk?
We need to know of the parents of these people in order to move further along the line.Any help would be very much appreciated.  gwenart.

Is there any clue on the marriage info you have of a birth location or something like 'of' followed by a place?

I have pm'd you a link to my tree - there are several Susan's on there around the right time but no William Dade marriage - some of them I do not have any marriage info for.

Have a look and see anyway.

CAROLINE DADE Naughton, Suffolk, England
JOHN BLOMFIELD DADE   Naughton, Suffolk, England
CAROLINE DADE   Bildeston, Suffolk, England
LYDIA DADE Naughton, Suffolk, England

I assume the 1st Caroline died.

The 2nd Carolines birth location is Bildeston - may give you a clue - may not!

   Firstly we must thank you for your great kindness in spending time helping newcomers to this site.  We have read everything you have put on the site and will work through it to get every bit of info. from it.  The Blomfields you list from Naughton are in fact children of William Dade and Susan and of the eleven children they had we believe only three survived to an age where they could marry and John Blomfield Dade was one of them.The one from Bildeston was new to us and will require checking.
   The church record of the marriage doesn't unfortunately give any clue to a birthplace only the two names 'of this parish' but they were 29 and 19 at this time so could have come from anywhere. But we soldier on and are just grateful that these names are of interest to you and other members of 'RootsChat'.
