Hi,

just out of interest do you know if there are any other Dade's or Blomfields in the parish about the same time or prior to Susan and William - this may give us a clue.

If there are no prior surnames Dade or Blomfield then they came in after they left their parents - if there are others with the name even if you do not know the connection it could be a lead.

Hi Yi Win,
At the moment the only Dades/Blomfields we know of in the Naughton area are descended from William and Susan.
We were interested to see on your Post 114 Tuesday 16th March 2010  that one of your listings was a BLUMFIELD- Susan born 28th October 1771 but she doesn't appear on your personal website -your research produces results we can only wonder at but we hope to improve with help.  Would appreciate anything you have on this Susan Blumfield since her birth-date seems to match our Susan's.Thanks again
  Gwenart.

I guess that will be Wetheringsett, also known as Wetheringsett-cum-Brockford    ;D

Pat ...
Every time I find an ancestor,
I have to find two more!

SUFFOLK - Pendle, Stygall, Pipe, Fruer, Bridges, Fisk, Bellamy, Sparham - all link to  Framlingham
DERBY - Bridges and Frost (originally Framlingham/Parham)
NOTTINGHAM - Lambert & Selby
BERKSHIRE/then Hammersmith LDN - Fulker
LDN/MDX - Murray, Clancy, Broker, Hoskins, Marsden, Wilson, Sale

GGfather Michael Wilson born Cork, lived Fulham London - moved to Boston USA 1889, what happened next?

Yup - Wetheringsett - in my case I was lucky it gave the marriage couples locations to enable me to carry on tracing!

Gwenart,

If it were me I'd go to the Norfolk section on here and post a DADE/BLOOMFILED Pulham Parish Records query!

Brides usually got married in their own parish. This will tell you if she is local to Pulham or maybe he is and her family moved in. Or if there are no other Bloomfields or Dades in the records prior to thier marriage then both people moved in. Also maybe they had a child just after and he/she is located there also.

If no one has the records you can apply to the Norfolk Parish records office and (sometimes) buy a section of records if yo ustate the time yo uwish to cover.

As you know thier birth dates you could go a little before this to see if there are other births or marriage in either name and a little after to check their  1st child wasnt born there.

This may be 'wasted' money in a sence if there are no Bloomfield or Dades in Pulham but it is a way of ruling things out and on occasions some small amount of dosh must be spent in order to progress forward.

many people have done this and then put the records up for view on here so there is a benefit in a way even if its not yours.

Worth a try anyway but try the Norfolk are here first in case someone alreayd has those records yo uwant to look up!

Have fun - let us know the results of the Norfolk hunt on here so we can help you progress more if possible!

HI,

There was a family Bloomfield in Pulham c 1818 onwards one William and Henrietta and kids - William may be a relation of your Susan or could be a completely different Bloomfield family having moved into Pulham.

I had a quick look for free pulham records but I think you may have to apply to the Norfolk records office.

The link to Pulham is
