What I've found for Leonard born 1879:

1901 census – Woodcote, Hollingbourn, Kent

Alfred Willis, head, 51, living on own means, born Luton, Bedfordshire
Sofe Willis, wife, 50, born London, Kilburn
Gwynneth Willis, daughter, 21, born Finchley, Middlesex
Gilbert Willis*, son, 20, born Finchley, Middlesex
Leonard Willis*, nephew, 21, born Kent, Lewisham, London
Edith Harris, servant, 26, housemaid (domestic), born Surrey, Shafford
Rose Savage, servant, 24, parlourmaid (domestic), born Kent, Maidstone
Alice Savage, servant, 19, kitchenmaid (domestic), born Kent, Maidstone
Emily Baker, servant, 30, cook (domestic), born Cornwall, Greenwear
(Piece: 770; Folio: 16; Page: 23)
*In the column for occupation for both Gilbert and Leonard there is simply an “L” written which I presume means they were “living on their own means” as well but I could be wrong.

1891 census – Arthur House, Arthur Road, Margate, Kent
Leonard J Willis, pupil, 11, born Lee, Kent
(Piece: 729; Folio 56; Page 60)

1881 census – 12 Northbrook Rd, Lee**, Kent

William Willis, head, 45, barrister at law, born Dunstable, Bedfordshire
Annie Willis, wife, 38, born Middlesex, London
Annie Willis, daughter, 14, born Kent, Lee
Esther E. Willis, daughter, 12, born Kent, Lee
Francis H. Willis, son, 8, born Kent, Lee
Mary G. Willis, daughter, 7, born Kent, Lee
Charles S. Willis, son, 5, born Kent, Lee
Beatrice K. Willis, daughter, 3, born Kent, Lee
Leonard J. Willis, son, 1, born Kent, Lee
Margaret A. Willis, daughter, 3 months, born Kent, Lee
Louisa Lawson, servant, 53, cook domestic servant, born Lincoln, Grantham
Louisa Chesterfield, servant, 25, housemaid domestic servant, born Cornwall, St. Austell
Anne Parker, servant, 21, housemaid domestic servant, born Worcester, Handly Castle
Susan Hunt, servant, 30, nurse, born Kent, Bromley, Common
Emma J. Peck, servant, 18, under nurse, born Devon, Chawleigh
(Piece: 731; Folio: 10; Page: 13)
**Lee is in the Lewisham registration district.

1871 census – 14 Handen(?) Road, Lee, Kent

William Willis, head, 35, barrister in actual practice, born Bedfordshire, Dunstable
Annie Willis, wife, 28, born Middlesex, East Northfield(?)
Anne Willis, daughter, 4, born Kent, Lee
Esther E Willis, daughter, 2, born Kent, Lee
William O Willis, son, 1, born Kent, Lee
Herbert Willis, brother, 15, born Bedfordshire, Luton
Emily Richards, servant, 23, general servant (domestic), born Kent, Sheerwood
Mary Ann Rice, servant, 17, nurse (domestic), born Middlesex, Islington
(Piece: 765; Folio: 113; Page: 41)

The 1871 census certainly ties in with the 1901 census entry with Leonard's uncle, Alfred, being born in Luton as was the brother of William on the 1871 census. Luton and Dunstable are only about 5 miles apart.
