Does anyone have any information about the father of Frances Bruce Whyte Lawrence (born - circa. 1900) in Macduff, Banffshire. Daughter of Catherine Bruce (born 1860) - who was married to John Lawrence. (Market Street, Gellymill Street).

Does anyone have the date John Lawrence died?

I believe that John Lawrence died a year or two before Frances was born -  Frances was possibly born to James Whyte (who was married to Elizabeth) during a brief affair to the widowed Catherine Bruce.
