Looking for any information on a Edward Eric Holmes b 1919 in Lac Vert Saskatchewan, I do know his father was a British Home Child sent in around 1900

Perhaps the cemetery would be willing to give you any details that they have on record for his burial.

Thank you Debbie, I have all that as he was my Grandfather, there is nothing about his parents in his obit unfortunately

Is this the grandfather of your grandmother that lives close to you?

Have you tried ordering his birth certificate from Saskatchewan Vital Statistics? If you don't have an exact date it's a little more expensive but considering what they charge for registrations ($50) it's not that much more. Here's a link to their website:
