 Wee snippet on house numbering....

 In my youth in Bedlington and Blyth areas, (mid 1900s) there was an abundance of house numbers in halves.  Many terraces of houses contained houses shared- one family downstairs, another upstairs... with the upstairs numbered with halves.

I have a 1938 Ward`s Directory which has 64 Tyne St. North Shields occupied by a lady shopkeeper. In fact, all the houses in the street appear to be shops

I think Harriett Eskdale is the right one, just dittoed wrongly on the census with the rest of the Eskdales above her.
There are 3 family trees on Ancestry with Margaret Eskdale, wife of Jonathon Eskdale, being the daughter of William and Martha Taws, sister of Harriets mother Eliza Lowery (formerly Taws).

It looks as though Alan has solved your mystery Victoria. The enumerator must have got carried away with the ditto marks for surname. Now you've got some more relatives to check out! That should be worth the cost of the certificate!

The head of household is a dealer so that would fit for a shop.

Hi everyone, so thank you for helping me with this. Alan, that was a great help as harrier must have been living with her uncle and aunt.  It narrows down my search for her mother eliza too as it gives me a 10 yr range to search in.  Can I ask how you found the census entry ?

Thank you everyone for your help!

Hadn't heard about thegenealogist before. How does the cost compare to other sites?

 Alan,

 Well done.
~~~~~~~~
 Additionally the National Archives web site, allows a search for streets on the 1901 ( and other) censuses. ( Although it is a fee-charging site finding out if a street/number exists does not attract fees)
 The site also contains an alpha street index for Tynemouth Enumeration District showing Piece/Folio refs- but unfortunately this is only for 1891 census.
 A street search is possible on Ancestry- but this is only for 1881 census
