BOLGER - Rathvilly

Looking for info on BOLGER's from Rathvilly.
Michael Bolger a stonecutter.
He had a son Laurence Bolger (a stonecutter). Laurence was born 1858-1860. He married Catherine HOSEY in B-Town in 1882.

I have looked for Michael but cant find anything..

since both Michael & Laurence were born before Civil registration started in 1864 you will need to research church records. Other than visiting the National Library (RC records) or the Representative Church Body Library (CofI), your best bet is probably keeping an eye on the website at http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/ as they are planning is planning to add County Carlow records to their system

Michael Bolger was my Great Great Granfather, My Great Granfather was Laurance, my Granfather was Patrick, and my Father was Edward. Stephen was my Gran uncle and was known as Hosey which was his mothers maiden name, he lost an eye during the first world war while in the British Army, he was a Blacksmith by trade

Lar was my gg-grandfather.
His daughter Nan (Annie) was my g-grandmother.
Do you have any info on Michael Bolger. Ive been looking for info on him for a while.

Do you live in Carlow?

No just the year he was born 1886 along with his brothers and sisters, there were twelve childern in Lars family

abolger, do you have any info on the rest of Lars children, or if Lar had any Brothers or Sisters,
My Dad was Michael Bolger, my Grandad was Stephen [Hosey].
