FELLOWS marriage near Thrapston, c.1820
« on: Wednesday 31 March 10 01:37 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a marriage between my ancestors James FELLOWS and his wife Ann. Their first child was born at Thrapston in 1820, and both seem to be from the area. Given that James & Ann gave one of their sons Holland as a middle name, I have an inkling that this could be Ann's maiden name. That could be a red herring though...

Thanks,
Alexander

Thanks, that fits perfectly. I'm having trouble finding what James's first wife was named. There is a possible baptism for his child Catharine in 1814 in Islip, with parents James and Elizabeth. Can anyone find a marriage for them and perhaps a burial for Elizabeth, in Islip. James was born abt 1788 in Slipton according to the censuses.

Thanks again,
Alexander

The only marriage I can find is James Fellows and Elizabeth Goodwin both of Ringstead (which is near to Islip and Thrapston) married 31st July 1808.

Hope that helps.
