I'm having no luck trying to trace the parents of my 2x Grandad. He was Charles Adamson, born about 1810 in Clackmannan, and he married Agnes Brown in Clackmannan on 12/10/1835. He died in Carnock on 22/5/1853, but only after having 7 children. They were John-1828, Thomas-6/5/1840,Janet-1/4/1842[all Duke Street,Clackmannan]Mary-1846, William1848, Elizabeth-1850and Charles-1853[all Carnock]
 William was my GGrandad and married Julie Adamson Dobbie on 15/4/1870 in Dunfermline. He died in Mayflower St., Dunfermline on 13/8/1927.
