Heya all ^_^  This may not be really far back but I thought I would post this anyway.

I am the grand daughter of:
Ernest Lipkovits, June 2, 1989, Penticton, age 61
Lucille (Lebidoff)Lipkovits, Apr 27, 1988, Oliver, age 59

My mother (their daughter)born in 1951
My Uncle (their son) born in 1940 - 2 son's 

My mom and uncle, also have two uncle's that are Lipkovits
One of the Uncle's Jonhy lipkovitz passed away alittle over 10months ago. He has two daughters.  They also had a sister whom passed away from, I think diabetes.

Hi I have the death certificate of an Istvan Lipkovics, who died in 1985 in B.C, he was a milkman, married to Roza Lipkovics and he was born in 1915 to father Gellert Lipkovics of Aldebro, Hungary. these are available free through the B.C. archives. i do know someone who was close friends for many years with a Lipkovics couple who went to B.C. My grandfather his brother, and their families came to Saskatchewan in 1903 from Aldebro which was then a very small village. I am sure Istvan was related in some way to my family,
my grandfather's sister stayed in Aldebro, and she was married to a Lipkovics. I wonder if Istvan was her grandchild, son, or nephew. if Istvan lived in Stockholm Saskatchewan before B.C. he was a relative my father didn't know about. My father's family were also descended from a Maria Lipkovics of Aldebro, more generations back .Please send me a pm if interested.

just a short addition in case anyone of the Lipkovits or Lipkoviks are looking for more family information. Gellert Lipkovics was the brother in law of two of my great aunts, all of these remained in Hungary I believe. his son Istvan was born 29 Dec 1915 according to the Civil Registration records from Aldebro, hungary. Istvan (or Stephen) immigrated to Stockholm, Saskatchewan. I would be interested in hearing from any of his descendants, and also have his family tree from Hungary as it coincides with my own. a personal message may be sent to me.
