What year was Robert born

What year was Eliza born and where was she born

Hello Carol, Thank you for your response...spot on!
Robert Reeve was born in Troston March 1816, Shepherd. Enlisted Royal Marines Sept 1834, X his mark. Enlisted as Robert Reeve.  I pick up REEVES on His Marriage Cert to Eliza Humphrey at Sundridge 1842. By 1871 they were in Mucking Essex as a deaf labourer with a family of eight. Slight contradictions on the 1851 census to the 1871.
Eliza b Chatham 7m
Emily Sarah b Edenbridge (Have Cert)
Thomas b Brompton not Edenbridge
Eliza appears to have died by 1871
Robert was awarded a Copper Jean d' Acre for action in that war.

I now need to find the family in the 1861 census as I am trying to find out when Robert George ran away to Grimsby to end up skippering & eventually owning a fishing smack the Burton GY414. I pick him up in 1865 at his wedding.

kind regards

Terry

If you haven't done so already, you might find mention of the children born Chatham/Brompton in the baptism registers for Chatham/Brompton/Gillingham at Medway Cityark http://cityark.medway.gov.uk/

There is a G Reeves b London Kent aged 17 at Fulwood Barracks Preston in 1861

Also a George Reeves b Shoreham 1844 working as a servant in Chevening Kent

Sevenoaks was the registration district for Shoreham.  I can't find an 1851 entry for a George Reeve/s b Shoreham

Nothing under Robert

Thank you Carol,
I am returning to my Family History after a 10 year rest. I have now found most of my scattered records! The Chatham 1851 Marine Barracks record was a plus.

I am now in search of Robert George Reeves aged 16 in 1861. He is reputed to have run away from home in Kent and turns up in 1865 marring on Xmas day in Grimsby. I cannot find him on the  Grimsby 1861 census, Kent of Essex. Where is he hiding? Are the fishing vessels under a different census search heading? He could be at sea.
