James Rourke - killed in action 1918
« on: Monday 05 April 10 23:45 BST (UK) »
My great grand uncle was killed in France on the 21st. March 1918. Can someone kindly check for any information on this man. His regiment number was 10002. I printed a page off Ancestry which quotes theatre of war Aldershot. What does that mean. Any help on finding out more about this relative would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Darren

Ignore the Aldershot remark..its an Ancestry mistake!!

The CWGC entry says he has no known grave.

Heres his Irish Great War Casualty link on ancestry

His Medal Index Card states entitled to British War and Victory medals which means he didnt go overseas until after Jan 1916.
