Carolyn, many thanks, that is infinitely better.  ;) ;)

The original at 2˝" x 1˝" has a black sheen on it as well as being covered by white dots. I need a magnifying glass to make out the faces.

I agree Paula Too, he's my great-grandfather and sadly, all the photographs I have of him are less than perfect.

But I've had so many 'done' already and although I'd love to ask for lots, I'm trying not to be greedy and trying to spread it out.
