Cant find James Duthie 1861 & 1871 census

Hi

I am having trouble finding:

James DUTHIE born 1803 Fordoun
Betsy SIMPSON born 1808 Benholm

in the 1861 and 1871 censuses.

Have them in the 1851 census at Blairs and the 1881 census at Little BF House (which I presume is Little Blairs Farm House as this family of Duthies resided at North/South Blairs, Fordoun).

Betsy is also known as Elizabeth.

I have only been able to find one child on the IGI, Jean, July 1829.

James died in 1882.

1861 - Betsy is Betty Sinnon Duther b 1809 and they are in Fordoun

1871 they are James & Betsy Duthie but James birthyear is shown as 1814

Strange about their birth years in the 1871 census - will have to check the originals on SP.

They were easy to find by using a wild card search

1861 - searched on bet** b 1808 +-2yrs living in Kincardine

Same for 1871
