Helen,

There are MICs to a Samuel and a Solomon Solomons in the AVC.

Is it possible that brothers have got mixed up over the years?

I should have looked at the MICs first  ::)

Solomon Solomons was also Royal Fusiliers (2nd London possibly)
His RF service number is J2507, which I think is Jerusalem issue.

Does every soldier have a MIC?

Morris did have a brother Solomon, who was born in 1875, Morris in 1884, but I don't understand what a RF Service No. is and if it is search-able, or if it will reveal anything.

Maybe there is nothing to find out?
Grimes Patterson Keeley -- Warwickshire
Hollis Cooper Solomons Hubbard Moses Merrott -- Bethnal Green, Hackney
Dunlop Grimes -- NSW
