It's interesting that she has her lips closed- no teeth or not very happy with their appearance perhaps?

I have a couple of 19th C photos of women who have firmly hidden their teeth. ;D

Hi June,

I would go along with the estimates of 1880s (from what we can see, anyway) and age about 70...she's most definitely hiding her teeth, or rather her lack thereof!  ;D 

What a lovely photo of a very characterful looking lady - I hope you can find out who she is!
