Just noticed on 1901 census 2 of the children have Palmer as a middle name -is this what you are referring to???

the problem with applying for a birth cert is that there are (at least) 2 margaret Elizabeth Jones in same reg dist same year.

You would probably be better initially sending for her marriage cert which would give father's name and occupation

With a name like Jones in Wales you need as much documentation as possible.

From your original post I understood her name to be Margaret Elizabeth Palmer Jones

Now I realise Palmer is the middle name given to 2 of the children-not to margaret
