Unfortunately the church records for Offaly are not available online so it's not possible to check for a marriage online. However there is a Michael Hart in Moorpark Street, Birr in Griffiths Valuation taken in the mid 1899s. No guarantee this is your ancestor though

There are a number of children born to Michael Hart & Eliza Corboy on the IGI on www.familysearch.org. Some were born in Parsonstown which was Birr.

Given the early date there probably will not be any easy way to tell where Michael in Offaly came from originally. Did his marriage record mention his father's name ?

I have a John Hart (my g.grandfather) who was born in Sligo in about 1860, he eventually moved to England living in Lancaster, Durham and Liverpool and married Margaret Bibby. His father was a Michael Hart but I have no other information in Ireland of the family.

John Hart four sons Peter, John (my grandfather), Joseph and Thomas.

Is this any family connection.

On looking back on what I have for John Hart (approx 1860) he is shown as being born in Currey Co. Sligo does this make a difference to your information.
