Still looking for burial place of Alexander and Margaret Easton.... thanks for the Census info... it helps me see where they were in certain years. 

My line is from George Easton b. 1892 Glasgow  m. Janet Allan in Dundee
His father David Easton b. 1846 Dysart m. Helen Ann Young Boyd in Dunfermline (she was born in Dundee and is living in Dundee when her grandson is born in 1916)
David's father, Alexander b 1804 Abbotshall, Kirkcaldy m. Margaret Simpson at Abbotshall, Kirkcaldy.

I believe David died 1893 but don't know where.  I don't know when his father, Alexander died and always thought it was in Fife but now maybe he died in Leith after 1881 but before 1891?

I am a descendent of David Easton (born 1840) and his first wife Elizabeth Mitchell (born 1841).  After the birth of John in 1870 the family moved to Dunfermline, Fife.  David* (b. 4 July 1873) and Isabella (b.17 July 1875) were born in Dunfermline.  The family seems to have moved quite a bit during this time as the Scottish records office shows the birth of each child at a new address until the death of their mother and the father’s remarriage.

Their mother Elizabeth Mitchell died of TB on 28 June 1880.  Address is Carnegie Street, Dunfermline.

David married Helen Ann Young Boyd shortly after on 31 December 1880.  By the time of their first child’s birth in 1882 they seem to be living in Dundee and remained at the same address at least until the time of David’s death on 3 June 1893.  Cause of David’s death was pneumonia.

Am keen to find out what happened to this family once they moved to Dundee around or shortly after 1880.

So sorry for not responding sooner.....it has been a very hectic summer and not over yet for me.  My mother is remarrying in two days (my father passed away 5 yrs ago and she has finally moved forward and found someone to share her life with) so since I just took a minute to check on my email I thought I would take a further minute to respond.  Many of David & Helen's offspring immigrated to Canada.  I have info on their families (of which I am a descendant) and their lives in Canada.  Unfortunately I don't have time right now to get all this to you but I promise I will try and set aside some time in the next week or two to give you some background on your Canadian cousins.  If you could send me an private message with your email and name I would prefer to respond via email and am keenly interested in sharing information on our shared ancestry.
