hi tressle

I am not sure where I would get his will but I would love to read it
and I am not 100% sure that I have the right Robert boyd
so I am trying to search all the Robert Boyd that died with birth date 1863 and found one that died in Liverpool so sent away for his death cert and I am hoping it will give me a clue If it is the right one
Could you tell me where I can find a will ?
thanks Jan

You need to check the Probate Calendars for England & Wales, but the will for the gent who died in 1929 is most probably not the man you are looking for.

Maybe you should check the GRO index for Consular & Overseas deaths after 1929?

The reason I asked if he was married was that if he didn't stay in Fiji then Australia or New Zealand may have been possible destinations.

Both have indexed Newspaper sites (not sure if New Zealand covers that far on into the 20th century - think it stops earlier).

Similarly the death records for both countries might have been helpful.
