Buckley

Trying to trace Phoebe Buckley b Co Wicklow c.1800 & died 1853 in Liverpool.  She had at least one son - Robert, who married Mary and had a son Robert in c.1847, who went on to become a lighthousekeeper.  

Anyone got any Buckleys in Wicklow?

I have the name Buckley ( Wicklow) in a data base file I am compiling but as yet they are just names
and not many dates against them
No Phoebe but you are welcome to them should
you wish to pursue this further .

Hi - do you know if Phoebe had any siblings?   Their names, or the names of her parents would be very helpful.   I too descend from the Wicklow Buckleys  and now have quite a bit of information on the various branches of the family.
If you have ANY additional information, it might prove helpful.

I'm a desc of Robert Buckley who sailed to Australia on board the "Cairngorm" with his future wife's family of John Hicks & Ellen Dalton  abd their daughter, Mary Hicks, in 1855.
Robert is from Picknasilla/Parknasilla, Co Wicklow. the Hicks are from Glendalough, Wicklow. My first place I found for them was Powerscourt.

Robert's father was Francis Buckley and his wife was Eliza Darlington.

Am gradually trying to group all these Enniskerry/Glencree Buckleys into their correct families, but its a difficult task as there were so many of them.... most of whom I'm related to.

You might like a group I've so far formed, but its a work in progress.  I take it your Robert is in fact John Robert b. 1826.

Re the Hick family - are you certain they arn't from GLENCREE, Co Wicklow.
